ALL THINGS ARE DAILY CHANGING
"In human life there is constant change of fortune; and it is unreasonable to expect an exemption from the common fate. Life itself decays, and all things are daily changing."
--Plutarch (46-120BC, Greek Essayist, Biographer)
Change. How inevitable. We know that things change- whether circumstances in our own life, our relationships, daily routines, social demographics... change happens. We experience life, it brings the planned and the unplanned both! Changes occur which we can enjoy and appreciate- and those happen which bring pain and sorrow.
In a fast-paced world of living and being, and constantly-changing flux and flow, so much is happening which we have no control over.
That constant which we DO have control over, is within us.
It is our ATTITUDE. Our ability to reason and think things through. That is, unless the unforseen accident occurs which takes away our ability to function normally.
And THAT does happen.
So I suggest that we all- each and every one- take complete responsibility for our own lives and decisions, and own up to the fact that what we are constantly doing and thinking, is affecting all things changing within our own life circumstances. What does this mean?
It means stay sober-minded and don't do anything which is going to alter your ability to keep a straight head on your shoulders! It's bad enough and sad enough that another car can turn in to the one you are driving and change your life forever. I pray to God that if that ever happens to me that I have left all my personal and business affairs in order!
Oh yeah?
Got things hidden that you wouldn't want exposed to the light of day? Anything like magazines or letters or just anything at all which is so terrible that if you die or become paralyzed and can do nothing, that when people go through your personal belongings and papers and whatever you have in your desk, computer, your bedroom or in your car... is there going to be anything found which would cause you great shame? Your family?
Life can be abrupt.
Today, make some changes of positive kinds!
And let those you love, know it!
